Mike Love is an associate in the firm’s Atlanta office. Mr. Love has practiced general civil litigation since 1996 handling various matters involving personal injury, mass tort, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation. Before coming to W&S, Mr. Love represented a wide range of corporate clients including the world’s largest manufacturer of oil rig equipment, a national hospital chain, and many local business owners. Mr. Love’s experience in personal injury matters includes a wrongful death action in which his clients received a $14.3 million verdict and representation of the State of Texas in the state’s tobacco litigation.
Mr. Love was born in Anderson, South Carolina in 1971. He received his B.A. in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Biology, and his J.D. in 1996 from The University of San Diego School of Law in San Diego, California where he was a member of the Environmental Moot Court Team and the Phi Delta Phi honors fraternity. During the summer of 1994 he attended a mini pupilage in Manchester, England at 43 King Street Chambers where he assisted in a public inquiry concerning the land use and environmental impacts of the Manchester Airport.
Mr. Love was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1996 and the Georgia State Bar in 2005. He is also a member of the Southern and Eastern Districts of the U.S. District Courts in Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. « Back
